Re-evaluation of Munnu Ceramics’ assets

Assets of Munnu Ceramic Industries Limited have been re-evaluated. The value of the company’s total assets and equipment increased from Tk 2,112.05 million to Tk 3,056.07 million. That is 944.02 million taka or 94 crore 40 lakh 20 thousand taka has increased. The company had a net asset value of Tk 57.37 per share in the last financial year, which has risen to Tk 83.01. It is learned that the company has undertaken various positive programs under the leadership of the new generation. This includes plans to increase sales by modernizing the company’s equipment and setting up new own showrooms. It has recently set up its own showrooms in Banani, Uttara and Chittagong. The company is trying to increase its exports to different countries in the future.

The Managing Director has maintained a consistent sales growth by managing the company efficiently during the Corona period of 2019-2020 financial year and has also set a shining example during the second wave of Covid-19 in 2020-2021 by applying previous experience. As a result, the sales in 2019-2020 were Tk 602.38 million and the sales in 2020-2021 were Tk 706.77 million, an increase of 17.33% over the previous year. In the three quarters of this year (July-March 2022) sales were Tk 683.03 million and EPS was Tk 1.04. If the situation is normal, sales are likely to be much higher this year than last.
