DMP’s Mirpur Division Pallabi Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Parvez Islam has caught the attention of the general public in a very short period of time with his symbols of exceptional work ethic. Out of the responsibility of doing something for the society personally outside the government responsibilities, this extra-ordinary police officer is keeping a constant watch on the development plan of the whole police station area.

In the meantime, he has been keeping a sign of his duty in the Pallabi police station area including prevention of several child marriages, suppression of high profile crimes and eradication of drugs. Such an initiative of this exceptionally brave police officer has been appreciated in all quarters. Outside of his responsibilities, he is sometimes seen at the doorsteps of helpless, poor or oppressed people, sometimes rushing to the school and college to find out about their studies. OC Parvez Islam is known as an exceptional thinking police officer in every field of social, cultural and political field. As a smart officer of Bangladesh Police, he has been repeatedly recognized as the best officer-in-charge of DMP with the highest responsibility including arms recovery, drug eradication, unraveling of clueless murder case and maximum warrant for Tamil.
