Age-Group Swimming Competition begins tomorrow
The 38th National Age-Group Swimming and Diving Competition begins tomorrow at the Syed Nazrul Islam Swimming Complex in the city’s Mirpur. State Minister for Youth and Sports Md Aminul Haque is expected to inaugurate the four-day meet as the chief guest.
Bangladesh Swimming Federation president and Bangladesh Navy chief Admiral M Nazmul Hassan will attend in the opening ceremony as the special guest. Around 550 swimmers set to compete in 100 events across five age categories, organized by BSF. The gold, silver, and bronze medalists will receive cash prize of Taka 3,000, Taka 2,000, and Taka 1,000 respectively.
