Md. Hanif, the owner of Hanif Enterprise—a long-standing leader in Bangladesh’s transport sector—has returned to the country after spending 15 years abroad.
He arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka on Saturday, May 10, from Malaysia.
A massive crowd gathered at the airport to welcome him, with thousands of people turning up to greet the returning entrepreneur.
According to sources at Hanif Enterprise, over 100 officials, employees, and well-wishers came to the airport in 35 buses operated by the company to receive him.
In the early 2010s, Md. Hanif moved to Malaysia permanently due to family and business complications, as well as health concerns. Despite living abroad, he remained actively involved in the strategic management of Hanif Enterprise.
