Tanzin Mithila Lends Her Voice to Film Song
Tanzin Mithila, a popular singer of the current generation, has once again lent her voice to a film song after several years away from playback singing. The song, titled “Bujhena Bujhena Mon,” is featured in the film Filter. The lyrics were written by Salahuddin Sagar, while Sajib Khan composed and arranged the music. Mithila is joined by singer Monir on the track. Mithila recorded the song three days ago and is optimistic about its reception. “The lyrics and melody of ‘Bujhena Bujhena Mon’ appealed to me so much that my expectations for the song have grown,” Mithila said.
“I believe listeners and viewers will really enjoy it. Everyone present during the recording liked the song very much and felt that it would touch the hearts of listeners. I also tried to sing it with great dedication so that the song could find a special place in people’s hearts.” She added, “Many singers remain remembered for generations because of a single film song. That is my hope as well. Now, let’s see how audiences respond once the song is released.”
Mithila said she has already recorded three or four other original songs and has recently performed at several stage shows in Dhaka and surrounding areas. She also recently visited Nagarpur in Tangail for personal reasons. She plans to travel to Netrokona to visit her parents in the coming days, as she has not been able to see them for a long time. She intends to make the trip before the middle of October.
Mithila recently returned to the music scene with her original song “Piriti Piriti.” The lyrics were written by Ashik Mahmud, while Akash Mahmud composed and arranged the music. Mithila also appeared in the song’s music video. She recently lent her voice to a song for the special television drama Ichchete Je Here Geche. Titled “Bornomala,” the song was written by Atik Mahmud and composed by Ahsan Jamil Anchal. Anchal also provided the duet vocals alongside Mithila. The drama was directed by Sadnan Roni. Earlier, Mithila released a solo album titled Mon Re under the Laser Vision banner. She wrote and composed all the songs on the album.
