Drug trader held with hemp in Bhola

Police arrested a drug dealer along with 5 kg of hemp from Ward No. 1 of the municipality early Sunday.

Arrested Md. Billal Hosen, 40, is a resident of Char Fashion Upazila in the district, confirmed Sub-Inspector of Bhola Sadar Police Investigation Center Md. Jasim Uddin. He said the arrested was taking the hemp from Cumilla to Lalmohan Upazila of Bhola in a bag. On the basis of such secret information, a team of Sadar Police Investigation Center raided Ward No. 1 of Bhola Municipality about 5:30 am on Sunday and arrested Billal. Bhola Sadar Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge Enayet Hossain said a case under Narcotics Control Act was under process in this connection.
