Organized by the Gangni Upazila Press Club in the district, a views-exchange meeting on the government’s achievements and various development issues between Meherpur-2 Constituency MP and Upazila Awami League President Mohammad Sahiduzzaman Khokon and journalists was held at the club on Monday morning.
MP Mohammad Sahiduzzaman Khokon spoke as the chief guest at the event while Upazila Press Club President and District Correspondent of Daily Shomoyer Kagoj MA Lincoln chaired it.
Among others, Tetulbaria Union Parishad Chairman Nazmul Huda Biswas, Saharbati UP Chairman Moshiur Rahman, Raipur Union Awami League President Shamsuzzaman Mangal, and Gangni Municipality Jubo League General Secretary Rahibul Islam were present as the special guests.
It was also addressed by Gangni Upazila Press Club General Secretary and Asian TV Gangni Representative Nuruzzaman Pavel. Amirul Islam Aldam, former president of Gangni Upazila Press Club and Daily Ittefaq correspondent, moderated the event.
Zulfikar Ali Kanan, senior journalist of BanglaNews 24 and news editor of Daily Meherpur Protidin, Sahajul Islam Saju, district correspondent of Daily Manab Zamin, Liton Mahmud, district correspondent of Daily Sokaler Somoy, and Masud Rana, mytv representative, also spoke.
Meanwhile, the MP sought the cooperation of journalists to portray the development.
