‘Teachers Orientation and Training Program’ for newly appointed teachers held at DIU

Daffodil International University (DIU) organized a ‘Teachers Orientation & Training Program’ today(6th July) with 42 newly appointed faculty members in various department of the university at International Conference Hall of the university.

Professor Dr. M Lutfar Rahman, Vice Chancellor, DIU was present in the program as the chief guest. Conducted by Ejajur Rahman Sajal, Deputy Director, HRDI, the program was addressed by Professor Dr. S. M. Mahbub Ul haque Mazumder, Pro Vice Chancellor, Mr. Mominul Haque Mazumder, Treasurer, Prof. Dr. Ismail Jabiullah, Controller of Examination, Professor Dr. Mostafa Kamal, Academic Affairs Dean , Prof. Dr. Syed Akter Hossain,, Dean, Faculty of Science and Information Technology, Prof. Dr. Md. Belal Hossain, Dean, Faculty of Alied Health Sciences, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Masum Iqbal, Dean, Faculty of Business and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Md. Nadir Bin Ali, Registrar of the University,

While addressing Professor Dr. M Lutfar Rahman said that teaching is a noble profession. It’s not like other profession. Passion and worship have to be needed in teaching profession. So, all of you are congratulated and welcomed especially who have started journey on the way of teaching from today.

He said that teachers have to be learner and dynamic. Theirs have to idea in latest knowledge around the globe. They have to be skilled in modern technology and knowledge also. He argued the teachers to be interested in research and also urged the teachers to make the best use of Blended Learning Centre (Learning Management System (LMS) which are the unique teaching and learning method of DIU.

He also said that the major intention of a teacher should be to motivated students in searching knowledge. Students are followed teachers. They treat them as an idle. So teachers should make example through their living style.
