Dakhil examinee dies in Tangail road accident

A Dakhil examinee was killed and his father injured in a road accident in Mirzapur upazila here this morning.

The deceased identified as Abu Raihan, son of Habibur Rahman hailed from Vaora Nawapara village in the upazila, was a Dakhil examinee.

Locals said Abu Raihan fell off a motorcycle after a collision between their bike and a CNG-run auto rickshaw at around 9 am in Pushtakamuri area on Dhaka-Tangail Highway. Then, a pickup van ran over him, leaving him dead on the spot.

Raihan was going to examination centre at Mirzapur to appear the board examination. His father, also injured in the accident, is now undergoing treatment at Kumudini Hospital.
