4 female teachers came out of the BSMRSTU vice-chancellor’s room crying

There has been an incident where 4 female teachers, including the chairman of the psychology department, came out of the Vice-Chancellor’s room in Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University in Gopalgang crying. After this incident, the students got angry and took a stand in front of the vice chancellor’s office. Later, in the presence of the teachers’ association, the students spoke to the vice-chancellor about this.

The incident took place on Thursday (August 25) at approximately 11 am. The teachers of various departments sat in discussion with the Vice-Chancellor regarding the allocation of rooms in the academic building. Later, when suddenly four women teachers of psychology department came out of the room while crying, the students of psychology department became angry. Later, hundreds of students of the department stood outside the office of the vice-chancellor and demanded to meet the vice-chancellor. After about an hour, the students met the vice-chancellor. Later, the leaders of teachers association, teachers of psychology department also attended there. The students immediately protested when a teacher called the students ‘catalysts’.

The angry students said that department chairman Nusrat Sharmin, Assistant professor Nasreen Nahar, Lecturer Mumtaz Sultana, Lecturer Sanjida Kabir Jui came out crying from the vice-chancellor’s room. Earlier, Masuma Parveen, the former chairman of the psychology department, also came out crying from the vice-chancellor’s room. The students complained that they came here to solve the problem of classroom crisis, why they came out crying we want to know. 4 teachers refused to comment on the incident.

The general secretary of the teachers’ association. Md. Abu Saleh said, “The Vice-Chancellor later spoke to the teachers of the Department of Psychology. He did not express regret. However, The sir’s words were regretful and the teachers were also convinced. I think there were several senior teachers present. If they presented the matter correctly, such a situation would have been avoided. would not have been made.”

In the presence of the students, the vice-chancellor said, “Earlier there was a shortage of rooms. It is still a problem. But it is decreasing. The problem will be solved with the cooperation of teachers and students.” At this time, he did not say anything about the crying of the teachers.
