On the occasion of the two-decade anniversary of Jalshidi, a Teacher-Student Centre (TSC) based cultural body of Jahangirnagar University (JU), paid a courtesy call on JU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Nurul Alam on Sunday.
Fairuz Sazida Tazrin, secretary of Jalshidi and a student of Government and Politics Department, led the delegation.
Later, JU VC received ‘Souvenirs’, crest and a magazine called ‘Little Magazine’ which was published by Jalshidi.
The Vice-Chancellor was impressed by the participation of students from various departments in Jalshidi, and he congratulated Jalshidi warmly.
At the same time, the Vice-Chancellor assured that he would try his best to attend the next program of Jalshidi.
Since its inception in 2002, Jalsindi has organized diverse cultural programs at various times on the Jahangirnagar University campus for two decades. It introduced the organization as a contemplative art practice center.
