1st International Business Olympiad-2023 held

Federation of Hospitality, Tourism & Event Management (FoHTEM) and Business Genius Bangladesh (BGB) jointly organized their one of the biggest events and first business olympiad of Bangladesh Primeasia University presents 1st International Business Olympiad – 2023 powered by NS Island Resort on Monday (19th of June), at the Primeasia University campus in Banani, Dhaka from 9am to 6pm.

The primary objective of this extraordinary Olympiad was to champion business studies and drive the growth of the business sector. This event featured a plethora of business studies related activities and educational sessions on topics such as management, finance, accounts, banking, sales, marketing, leadership, entrepreneurship, as well as tourism and hospitality management.

Undoubtedly, this event holds tremendous significance for all of us, particularly the students from schools, colleges, and universities. By registering for a minimal fee, they took part in this remarkable contest, reaping a multitude of benefits. Participants did not only receive certificates of achievement but also gained access to invaluable internship and job opportunities, be honored with prestigious awards and acknowledgments, expand their professional networks and receive comprehensive training to enhance their skills.

Chief Guest of Grand Opening Ceremony was Brig Gen Kazi A.S.M Arif,afwc psc (Retd), Registrar, Primeasia University.

Chair of The Program was Dr. A.R.Khan, Founder, Department of International Tourism & Hospitality Management, Primeasia University.

Special guests of the program were Md. Al-Amin, Hotel Manager Renaissance Dhaka Gulshan Hotel, International Celebrity Chef Jahida Begum, Head of F & B, NHTTI, Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation, Mohiuddin Helal, Chairman, Asian Tourism Fair, Khadizatul Kobra Nisha, Executive Director, NS Island Resort.

M A Nahiyan, Chairman, Federation of Hospitality, Tourism & Event Management (FoHTEM), Bangladesh Debate Warriors (BDW) and Business Genius Bangladesh (BGB) conducted the welcome speech, multimedia presentation and briefing session. He is also Chief Business Development Officer (CBO) of NS Island Resort.

Prof. Dr. Md. Nurunnabi Mollah, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Primeasia University who was the chief guest of Prize Giving & Ending Ceremony distributed the awards to the winners of various business studies related competitions.
