A consumer raised a question about Sultan’s Dine Kacchi’s meat. Then the matter went viral on social media. Many criticized about the issue. Some people posted on Facebook and claimed that the meat of other animals is being fed in the name of Khasi.
Sultan’s Dine authorities of Gulshan circle-2 opened up about these complaints. Because the consumer complained against that branch.
Bobby Rani Das, marketing communication officer of that branch told the media, “This allegation is baseless. Sultan’s Dine is a big brand. The complaint made by a customer about cat meat biryani is not possible at all.”
About the consumer’s complaint, he said, “We do not know the identity of that buyer. Buyer collected the food from our branch as take away and couple of hours later she complained to us and asked that what kind of meat did we give them, is that cat meat biryani?”
Since Wednesday afternoon, many people have been complaining about Sultan’s Dine food by posting on Facebook. This information was spread on several pages citing a person named Konok Rahman Khan. There, the question was raised after seeing the thin bones of the meat. The post also claims that the matter was reported by calling 999.
The Sultan’s Dine Gulshan-2 branch was contacted to inquire about the complaint. A call to the number found on their page was answered by a woman. She said, “The complaint has come to our attention. It is completely false and baseless.” She also claimed that business opponents are spreading ‘rumors’.
