BNP activists and police locked into a clash in the capital’s Science Lab area on Tuesday afternoon (May 23).
The incident took place around 4:00 pm. Meanwhile, BNP activists torched a BRTC bus and vandalized some other vehicles.
Sources said BNP leaders and activists started the march after a short rally in front of Bangladesh College in Dhanmondi. At one stage, the clash took place between police and the BNP men. In the meantime, police fired tear shells to bring the situation under control.

Rakibul Islam, duty officer of Fire service headquarters said that we came to know that a passenger bus was torched in the area.
