An ‘Open House Day’ was held at Dakshinkhan Police Station of Uttara Division in the capital to bring police services to the doorsteps of the people.
Uttara Division Deputy Commissioner of Police Morshed Alam was the chief guest at the function organized at Dakshinkhan Thana Auditorium on Wednesday morning.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Md Tariqur Rahman (Dakshinkhan Zone), Assistant Commissioner (AC) Dakshinkhan Zone Rakiba Yasmin, Dhaka Metropolitan North Awami League Vice President Md Mofiz Uddin Ahmed, Executive Member Rabiul Islam Robi, DNCC North Ward No. 50 Councilor DM Shamim, Ward No. 49 Councilor Anisur Rahman Naeem, Ward No. 47 Councilor Motaleb Mia etc spoke under the chairmanship of Dakshinkhan Police Station Officer Siddiqur Rahman.
Uttara Division Deputy Commissioner of Police Morshed Alam said in his speech that the police are not enemies of the people, but friends. Get the right service by cooperating with the police with information. The police are always working from the side as servants of the people. He also said that there is no compromise with drugs.
Call for information on any criminals, including drug dealers and users. Public representatives, teachers, politicians, community policing leaders and people from various professions were present in the event.
