According to the forecast, the extension of low pressure extends from West Bengal through southern Bangladesh to the North Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and moderate over the North Bay of Bengal.
Most places in Rangpur, Mymensingh, and Sylhet divisions; Many places of Rajshahi, Chattogram, and Dhaka Divisions and some places of Khulna and Barishal Divisions may witness light to moderate rain with gusty winds or thundershowers. Also moderate to very heavy rainfall may occur at some places in Rangpur, Mymensingh, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions.
The forecast for the next 72 hours states that the rainfall trend may increase during this period.
A mild to moderate heat wave is sweeping over Tangail, Jeshore, Kushtia, and Chuadanga districts including the Rajshahi division and it may soothed at some places.
Day and night temperatures may remain almost unchanged across the country.
