2 held with 27 bottles wine in C’nawabganj

Members of Rapid Action Battalion

(RAB) arrested two alleged drug peddlers with 27 bottles of Bangla wine from
Chapainawabganj municipality yesterday.

The arrested were Md Kuran Elahi, 45 of Kallyanpur Fokland More and Md Rubel,
35 of Ramkrishnapur Shanti More both under Chapainawabganj municipality.

RAB said, acting on a tip off, a team of the elite force conducted a raid in
Nayagola area at 12:50 pm and arrested the duo with the wine.

Later, they were handed over to the sadar thana police with a case, the
sources added.
