A bus driver was killed in a road accident on the Debiganj-Domar highway in Debiganj upazila of the district this morning.
The deceased was identified as Sumon Islam, 28, son of Hasibul Islam, a resident of Pamuli village of the upazila.

Police said the accident occurred around 7.30am in Farmgate area when a bus collided head-on with a truck, leaving bus driver Sumon injured critically.
He was sent to Debiganj Upazila Health Complex where the attending doctor declared him dead.
