“The newly formulated Outcome Based Education (OBE) curriculum needs to be implemented in practice rather than on paper. Just as teachers need to adjust to this change, students need to be mentally prepared to cope with it,” said Khulna University (KU) Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Mahmud Hossain.
“We should all welcome the new. We have to keep up with the new. Many things will change with time; everyone has to adapt to it. Humans are the only animals on earth that can affect the environment. Others survive by adapting to the environment. The ability to change the environment is an extra capacity of humans due to which human civilization has reached here today,” the VC also said.
He said these things in the opening ceremony of a training titled ‘Questioning and Assessment under OBE Framework’ at the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) training room of Shahid Syed Nazrul Islam Bhaban of KU organized by the KU IQAC on Thursday afternoon.
He expressed his sincere thanks to the IQAC Director and all concerned for organizing such a training.

IQAC Additional Director Professor Dr. Md. Motiul Islam gave the welcome address at the event. IQAC Deputy Registrar Md. Nurul Islam Siddiqui moderated the programme.
