Additional Secretary (Hospitals) of Health Services Department of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Md. Nazmul Haque Khan visited the Indurkani Upazila Health Complex in the district on Friday evening.
He was working as the Indurkani Upazila nirbahi officer from 07-12-2006 to 11-07-2007. He is currently serving as Additional Secretary of Health Services Department of the Ministry of Health. He came to Indurkani Upazila on Friday afternoon.
In the afternoon, he went to the Upazila Parishad building and the residence of the UNO. He appreciated various new infrastructures and the beauty of the Upazila Parishad premises. He said he a different love for Indurkani Upazila.
After that, he visited the upazila health complex building in the evening and gave various instructions to the concerned regarding the management and maintenance of the health complex and since the only health complex of Indurkani Upazila has not been opened for a long time, he discussed various issues with all those present and said necessary matters about the opening of the indoor section. He promised to take measures and start the section soon.
Upazila Parishad Chairman Advocate M Motiur Rahman, UNO Lutfunnesa Khanam, Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Nani Gopal Roy, upazila Awami League Vice-President Mahmudul Haque Dulal, Joint General Secretary Moniruzzaman Shikdar, Indurkani Union Assistant Land Officer Emily Khanam, various doctors and staff of the hospital along with journalists were also present at that time.
