Tabs were distributed among 120 students of 20 educational institutions in Bhurungamari Upazila of the district as a gift from the Prime Minister.
Upazila Chairman Nurunnabi Chowdhury was present as the chief guest in the tab distribution ceremony at the upazila parishad auditorium on Monday presided over by Upazila Nirbahi Officer Deepak Kumar Deb Sharma.
Among others, Tilai High School Head Teacher Amjad Hossain, Bhurungamari Fazil Madrasa Principal Altaf Hossain, Bausmari Fazil Madrasa Principal Abdul Majid, and Bhurungamari Press Club President Anwarul Haque were present. Upazila Statistics Officer Mostafizur Rahman gave the welcome speech. Later, tablets were distributed among 120 students of 16 madrasas and 4 secondary schools of the upazila.
