Agri tech fair begins in Shibganj

A three-day agricultural technology fair has been inaugurated in Shibganj Upazila of the district under the project titled “Agricultural Development of Rajshahi Division Through the Expansion of Modern Technology”.

On this occasion, a colorful rally was brought out from the upazila agriculture office premises on Wednesday afternoon that paraded the main roads of the town. Later, a discussion meeting was held at the upazila parishad auditorium where Upazila Chairman Syed Nazrul Islam spoke as the chief guest while Upazila Nirbahi Officer Abul Hayat chaired it and Upazila Agriculture Officer Agriculturist Shariful Islam gave the welcome speech.

Upazila Parishad Vice-Chairman Golam Kibria and Female Vice-Chairman Shiuli Begum spoke as the special guests while Sub-Assistant Agriculture Officer Azam Ali moderated it.

At the end, the guests visited the stalls of the fair on the upazila agriculture office premises. Eighteen stalls have been set up in the fair.
