Couple electrocuted in Jhenaidah

A couple died after being electrocuted at Gaganna village of Sadar upazila here this morning. The deceased were identified as Mujibar Khan, 60, and his wife Momena Khatun, 55, residents of Gaganna village in Holidhani union of the upazila. The incident occurred around 6.30 am 

According to local witness, Mujibar was preparing to blow using an electric fan when he inadvertently came into contact with electricity. His wife, Momena Khatun, rushed to help him but was also electrocuted. Both victims died instantly. Officer-in-Charge of Sadar Police Station Md. Asaduzzaman confirmed the incident.
