The results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations for the academic year 2023 may be published in the last week of July. Sources said that the result can be declared any day between 28, 29, and 31 July.
On Thursday, Inter-Education Board Coordination Sub-Committee President and Dhaka Education Board Chairman Professor Tapan Kumar Sarkar informed the media regarding this issue.
He said that the evaluation of the auditors’ accounts is almost at the final stage. Now the related education boards are doing other formalities to prepare the results. A proposal will be sought from the Prime Minister through the Ministry of Education to release the results in the last week of July. We are ready to release the result any day in the last week of July if the Prime Minister agrees.
According to the Board of Inter-Education, there is a provision to publish the results within 60 days of the end of the examination. Accordingly 30th of July will complete those 60 days. Since Friday is a public holiday, permission will be sought to publish the results before July 28, 29, or 31.
SSC and equivalent exams started last April 30 and ended May 28. This time 20 lakh 72 thousand 163 candidates participated in the SSC examination under nine General Education Board and Madrasa Technical Board.
