Principal Fakir Abdul Quader of Goland upazila, Rajbari district is a pioneer of educational, cultural and social movement of the upzila. He sets a unique example of how education can be turned into a social, cultural and moral movement.
Fakir Abdul Quader grew up from an ordinary family in Kashimaddin Sardar neighborhood of this upazila. He was born on October 10, 1965. Fakir Abdul Quader is the son of Maulvi late Amir Uddin Fakir and late Majeda Khatun. He is very smart and cultured since his school life. From childhood, he dreamed of standing next to the helpless people. Serve the people of the society.
He lived a very simple life with the goal of realizing this dream. He gives equal importance to everyone, rich and poor. 6 educational institutions have been established in Goaland Upazila with the relentless efforts of Principal Fakir Abdul Quader for the dropout students of the society. The educational institutions are as follows: 1.Gowland Ideal High School (General Branch), 2.Gowland Ideal High School (Vocational Branch) 3.F.K Technical and Business Management College 4.F. K Technical and Business Management College Computer Basic Training Course (Six months duration) 5.F. K Technical and Business Management Mahila College (BM) 6.F. K Technical and Business Management Women's College (Vocational).
With immense patience, exemplary discipline and single-minded effort not only educates the students in these six institutions, but also makes them competent, visionary, dutiful, characterful, self-reliant, modest and courageous. In addition to moral education, discipline, discipline, physical training, sports, literature and cultural activities are given special importance in these institutions. These students are getting the opportunity to study with less money. He himself went around the village to find the dropped out boys and girls. He provided them with special facilities for education. He provided tailoring and computer training for neglected women of the society and computer, electrical and building construction training for boys.
He also encouraged and supported them for training in various offices of the upazila. Along with that, he also recommended to provide training opportunities in variousdepartments. Recently, Fakir Abdul Quader, congratulated the president of Teachers Association (BTA).
