A General Diary (GD) has been filed against Dhaka cinema’s renowned actress Apu Biswas. Apart from Apu, another person named Zahidul Islam Apu has been made a defendant in the GD.
Film producer and actress Simi Islam Koli filed the GD with the capital’s Hatirjheel police station on Monday (September 19). GD Number-1115
The GD mentioned that “I hereby open Hi sk Films int and SKfilmsint 7712 last June 2016. Defendant Apu Biswas, 35, and Zahidul Islam Apu, 30, hacked my YouTube channel on 29/08/23 at approximately 7 pm. On 31/08/23 at 8 am, defendant no. 2 said that he would talk to defendant no. 1”.
It is also mentioned that “later on talking to defendant no. 2 on mobile, he demanded one lakh taka. If I pay this money, they will give me my YouTube channel, if I don’t pay, they will not return it. The matter was discussed in the cyber crime branch and made a general diary”.
Apu Biswas’s latest release ‘Lal Shari’ was released on Eid. Symon Sadik starred opposite Apu Biswas in the film. Meanwhile, a movie titled ‘Trap: The Untold Story’ starring Apu is awaiting release. Joy Chowdhury starred opposite her in this.
