On December 1, 2023 (Friday), SSC 1986 Bangladesh, Khilgaon Zone initiated day long “Train Journey ” at Srimangal. It was basically a one day train pleasure trip. We left Kamalapur Railway station at 6 am after having breakfast. There was unlimited tea service and entertainment in the train. The train left from Kamalapur railway station at 6:30 and reached Srimangal at 10:30. After arrival at Srimangal, we went at first at Grand Sultan Hotel, we take some photos there then we started for Madhavpur Lake , on the way we stopped for a while for Jumma prayer at Lawachra Forest mosque and after prayer there we visited Madhavpur Lake, Manipuri Para then we took our lunch. After having lunch we went to Darjeeling Dunes, Darjeeling Dunes is a very beautiful place. We stayed there until almost evening, then again we boarded the train to return to Dhaka. The return train was at 5:50 pm. Dinner was served on the train. We reached Kamalapur at 10 pm.
It was a pleasure trip, but it was remember for a long time in our mind. We enjoyed the trip a lot. Thank you to those who worked tirelessly to make the trip a success.
