PBI Chief inaugurated door of newly Constructed 25 feet tall Buddha statue

On last Friday, Additional IGP, PBI Chief Mr Banaj Kumar Majumder, BPM (Bar), PPM and his wife Dr Jaya Mallick inaugurated the door of the newly constructed 25 feet tall Buddha statue by flying the dove of peace in the presence of thousands of devotees. On auspicious Chibar Danotsava 2022 and the erecting image of Mahakarunik Buddha were held at Karttala-Belkhain Saddharmalankar Bihar under Patia Thana of Chittagong district.

PBI Chief, Additional IGP, Corttala-Belkhain Sadharmalankar Bihar donar Thapa Barua and his family members were present in the event. Honorable Whip, Bangladesh Jatiya Sangsad Mr Samshul Haque Chowdhury, MP was present as Chief guest and Sadharma scholar Bhadanta Vasumitra Mahasthavir was present as the president. In his speech, the chief guest said that during the current government there built on the ideals of the father of the nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, people of every religion are observing religious customs in their own circles with full freedom. He also mentioned that the present government is very sincere in the development of every religious institution. PBI Head, Additional IGP, Mr Banaj Kumar Majumdar, BPM (Bar), PPM said in his address, Gautama Buddha taught us—self-liberation. Buddha Antaryami is present in all of our hearts. If you continue to seek Him in your heart, peace will come to the world. In the presence of a large number of devotees, the Tishak Cheebar Danotsava’2022 and Mahakarunik Buddha idol were inaugurated.
