Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni today said that the new curriculum will have five days of classes in classrooms – this is the final decision. This decision was approved by the Prime Minister. The same rule applies to international standards as well.
She said these in response to queries from journalists at Chandpur Circuit House on Thursday morning.
“At first, it was decided to take classes for five days due to the power crisis. At that time, the classes were going on for five days due to the power crisis. But then I said that the next year’s education program will be only five days a week. Teachers will get a break for two days – because they also need rest,” said Education Minister.
Dipu Moni said that no teacher was recruited in the previous 10 years in the technical department. Subsequently, all the teachers have been appointed in the last four years. Some posts are always vacant because teachers are retiring. Again we fill those positions as per demand. Now there is no shortage of teachers in the technical department.
Chandpur DC Kamrul Hasan, Superintendent of Police Milan Mahmud, and others were present at this time.
