Weather may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy

sky elsewhere over the country, said a met office forecast for the next 24
hours begins from 9am today.

Rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at one or two places over
Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Sylhet divisions.

Light to moderate fog may occur at places over the country during late night
to early morning, the forecast added.

Country’s maximum temperature on Monday was recorded 32.0 degree Celsius at
Sitakunda and today’s minimum temperature 11.3 degree Celsius was recorded at
Tetulia.

Night temperature may rise by 1-2 degree Celsius and day temperature may fall
slightly over the country.

Trough of westerly low lies over West Bengal and adjoining areas. Seasonal
low lies over the South Bay.

The sun sets at 05.57pm today and rises at 06.28am tomorrow in the
capital.
