Army Chief distributes prize to Winners after closing the game

The final and prize distribution ceremony of Western Engineering President Cup Golf Tournament-2023 was held on Saturday at the Golf Garden of Army Golf Club in Dhaka Cantonment. Chief of Army Staff General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed was present as the chief guest on the occasion. At this time Major General Md Moshfequr Rahman, President, Army Golf Club, Mr Bashir Ahmed  Managing Director, Western Engineering Pvt Ltd and other dignitaries including senior military and civilian officials were present. The tournament is held in five categories for amateur golfers. The categories are – Senior, Junior, Regular, Ladies and Veteran. Army Golf Club informed that 782 golfers participated in the tournament. Foreign players have also participated in this tournament. Sabbir Khan became the overall champion in the tournament. Veteran Winner: Colonel Mohammad Enamul Haque (Rtd), Senior Winner: Brig General AKM Shamsuddin (Rtd), Lady Winner: Mrs Hafiza Sultana Sathi and Junior Winner: Master Ihan Yusuf was also awarded. It is to be noted, “Western Engineering President’s Cup Golf Tournament-2023” were held for 4 days at Army Golf Club from last Wednesday (14 March 2023).
