A poacher was arrested with 120 kg of deer meat in a raid by Bangladesh Coast Guard (BCG) in Kayra upazila of Khulna district.
The arrested was identified Md. Shah Alam, 35, son of Aziz Molla of Paisyamari village of Shyamnagar upazila in Satkhira district.

Lieutenant Commander Abdur Rahman, media officer of the Coast Guard Headquarters, gave this information yesterday.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of BCG conducted a drive and arrested the said person along with 120 kg deer meat. During the drive, the forces seized a rickshaw-van.
