Federation of Hospitality, Tourism and Event Management (FoHTEM) and Business Genius Bangladesh (BGB) organized the “8thBangladesh International Youth Awards – 2024” on business studies,tourism & hospitality management on 28th February2024 at Central Auditorium of Tejgaon College, Farmgate, Dhaka from 9am to 7pm.
Federation of Hospitality, Tourism and Event Management (FoHTEM) and Business Genius Bangladesh (BGB) organized the event in collaboration with Bangladesh Debate Warriors (BDW) and Tejgaon College Business Club (TCBC).
Like every year, students from schools, colleges, and universities of Bangladesh presented their business ideas, public speeches, cooking shows, video resumes, game shows, cultural performances etc in front of the judges. The judges were from different industries and professions. There were workshops on skill development, career planning seminars, question/answer sessions, skill tests, live talk shows, multimedia presentations, award-givingceremonies etc.
Chief Organizer of the program M A Nahiyan, Chairman, Federation of Hospitality, Tourism & Event Management (FoHTEM) and Business Genius Bangladesh (BGB) conducted the welcome speech and briefing session of the program.
Chief Guest of the Grand Opening and Closing Ceremony was Professor Dr. Md. Harun-or-Rashid, Principal, Tejgaon College.
Special Guests of the Grand Opening & Closing Ceremony were Prof. Anjuman Ara, Vice Principal, Tejgaon College, International Celebrity Chef Jahida Begum, Head of Food & Beverage, NHTTI, Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation, Ministry of Civil Aviation & Tourism, Masud Parvez Munna, Director, Central Inn, Adnan Fazlay Rahman, Director, Central Inn. Chair of the program was M Abdullah Al Mamun, Chief Adviser, Federation of Hospitality, Tourism & Event Management (FoHTEM) and Business Genius Bangladesh (BGB).
