The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) today announced the squad for the first two matches of the upcoming three-match ODI series against the New Zealand national cricket team. The board has retained the same squad that secured a 2-1 series victory against the Pakistan national cricket team at home last month. Several players - Mustafizur Rahman, Nahid Rana, Rishad Hossain, and Shoriful Islam - have been recalled from the Pakistan Super League to take part in the series.

New Zealand are scheduled to arrive in Bangladesh on Monday. In addition to the ODI series, the two sides will also contest a three-match T20 International series. The Black Caps will play the first two ODIs in Dhaka on April 17 and 20, with the third ODI set for April 23 in Chattogram. The T20I series will begin in Chattogram, hosting the first two matches on April 27 and 29, while the final T20I will be held in Dhaka on May 2.
