Eight teams reach quarterfinals in Cool-BSJA Media Cup

The quarterfinals line of the Cool-BSJA Media Cup football have been settled when The Daily Star, Star News, Channel I, Deepto TV, Cricfrenzy , Kaler Kantho, Jugantor, and Kalbela have secured their places eliminating their respective rivals in the pre quarterfinals today (Tuesday).

In the pre quarterfinals held at BFF artificial turf, Star News beat Ekhon TV by 5-3 goals in penalty shoot out, The Daily Star defeated Dhaka Post by 3-2 goals in penalty shoot out, Deepto TV outplayed RTV by 4-2 goals in penalty shoot out, Kaler Kantho defeated Jagonews24 by 2-1 goals, Cricfrenzy outclassed Channel 24 by 2-0 goals, Channel I defeated Banglavision by 2-0 goals, Kalbela blanked NTV by 2-0 goals and Jugantor beat Bangladesh Pratidin by 5-1 goals.   

The quarterfinals will be held tomorrow (Wednesday) at the same venue.
