Pirojpur kick off U-17 National Championship with victory

Host Pirojpur U-17 district team made winning start as they beat Bhola U-17 district team by a solitary goal in the U-17 National Football Championship that has begun at Pirozpur district stadium today (Thursday). After the barren first half, Mehedi Fasan scored the all-important goal for Pirojpur in the 47th minute taking a cross from Murad Hossain. Throughout the match, Pirojpur district team was ahead in possession of the ball and showed more activity in attack.
