PM enjoys cultural programme from the audience
Prime Minister and BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman today enjoyed a cultural programme organised by the Jatiotabadi Samajik Sangskritik Sangstha (JASAS) marking BNP's 48th founding anniversary.
He watched the programme sitting in the audience at the Krishibid Institution Bangladesh (KIB) auditorium in Farmgate here this evening. Earlier, the premier addressed a discussion organised by the BNP to mark its 48th founding anniversary as the chief guest.
BNP Acting Secretary General and Prime Minister's Political Adviser Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi chaired the discussion held at the KIB auditorium under the slogan "Korbo Kaj, Gorbo Desh, Sobar Age Bangladesh" (We will work, we will build the country, Bangladesh first).
BNP Standing Committee members and invited eminent personalities took part in the discussion, moderated by BNP Central Publicity Secretary and State Minister for Fisheries and Livestock Sultan Salahuddin Tuku.
Later, JASAS organised the cultural programme directed by noted music director and lyricist Iftun Babu.
Sazzad Hossain Palash, Mousumi Chowdhury, Poran Ahsan, Akhlima Mukta, Gamcha Palash, Shehman, Abdur Rouf, Rodoshi, Sunny, Sadman Pappu, Shahinur and Rafiza Alam, among others, performed at the programme.
