Police FC secure narrow win over Arambagh in Fed Cup
Bangladesh Police Football Club registered their first win as they edged past Arambagh Krira Sangha by a solitary goal in their group B match of Federation Cup Football that resumed after over a month of recess. After the barren first half, Brazilian forward Azevado broke the deadlock scoring the all-important goal for Police in the 79th minute of the match held at Bashundhara Kings arena in the capital today (Tuesday). The day's win saw, Police FC opened their account with three points from two matches while Arambagh Krira Sangha yet to open their account playing the one match. Earlier, Bangladesh Police FC, in their first match of the group, suffered a 3-2 goals defeat to Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited.
