Ansar-VDP members get Eid gift in Nilphamari

Eid gifts have been distributed among 327 members of Ansar and Village Defense Party (VDP) in the district on the occasion of the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha.

These gifts were distributed among the members receiving allowances on the District Ansar-VDP office premises on Monday morning. Each packet of the gifts contained polao rice, vermicelli packet, powdered milk, semolina, noodles, soya bean oil and sugar. Ansar-VDP District Commandant Md Mazharul Islam Bhuiyan, PVM, delivered a brief speech at the event.

At that time, District Circle Adjutant Josna Begum, Kishoreganj Upazila Ansar-VDP Officer Mosammat Maya Begum, Saidpur Upazila Ansar-VDP Officer Nurbanu Akhter, Sadar Upazila Trainer Md Rakibul Islam, and Upazila Trainer Mumtahena Mostari.

At that time, District Commandant Md Mazharul Islam Bhuiyan said, “These gifts will further enhance the joy of Eid for Ansar members and it is a reflection of our responsibility and care towards the force. Ansar and VDP members play an important role in the security and development of the country. Therefore, to recognize and encourage them, the Director General of Bangladesh Ansar and VDP has distributed these Eid gifts.”
