Oyshee Live in Kuala Lumpur: Grand Preparations Underway

Extensive preparations are underway for the upcoming musical event titled “Oyshee Live in Kuala Lumpur,” set to take place on June 28 at the HGH Convention Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The announcement was confirmed by National Film Award-winning Bangladeshi singer Fatima Tuz Zahra Oyshee during a press briefing held at G Tower in Kuala Lumpur. She shared detailed insights about the concert, expressing excitement about performing in the Malaysian capital for the first time. Oyshee will not be performing alone; she will be accompanied by her band, “Oyshee Express,” an eight-member team that includes five musicians, a sound engineer, and a manager. Speaking about the event, she said the initiative aims to strengthen cultural and musical ties between Bangladesh and Malaysia.

“I am truly excited, as this is my first time performing in Kuala Lumpur. Through this Show, we hope to bring the cultures of both countries closer. I am grateful to the organizers for inviting my entire team,”  To encourage participation from the Bangladeshi diaspora, organizers have announced a special ticket discount. Audiences purchasing tickets between April 24 and May 8 will receive up to 40% off. Tickets will be available online starting April 24, with prices ranging from 54 to 588 Malaysian Ringgit. VIP ticket holders will enjoy exclusive benefits, including a meet-and-greet session, special posters, and refreshments. Notably, Oyshee received the National Film Award in 2020 for Best Female Playback Singer for the song “Maya, Maya Re” from the film Maya: The Lost Mother, directed by Masud Pathik.

The “Oyshee Express” lineup includes Shamsuzzaman on lead guitar, Ashraful Alam Tinku on bass, Rizvi Rahman Adit on keyboards, Mohammad Amzad on drums, Debashish Debnath on percussion, Nasima Akter as team manager, and Atikur Rahman Siddique Rony as sound engineer. Oyshee has previously performed in several countries, including Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Oman, India, Australia, and the United Kingdom, building a strong international presence.
