Bangladesh–Denmark 2nd Joint Platform Meeting held
                                The 2nd Joint Platform Meeting between Bangladesh and Denmark was held today at the Public Private Partnership (PPP) Authority office in Agargaon, Dhaka. A key outcome of the meeting was the mutual approval of Non lead minor as the local partner of APM Terminals (APMT) for the upcoming Laldia Container Terminal Project.
The platform provided an opportunity for both sides to review progress on bilateral cooperation and reaffirm their shared commitment to transparency, efficiency, and innovation in PPP projects. Participants underscored the importance of international expertise and strong local partnerships in ensuring long-term operational sustainability of major infrastructure ventures like Laldia.

Speaking at the meeting, participants highlighted that the Laldia Container Terminal project will not only expand Bangladesh’s port capacity but also enhance trade competitiveness and align with global standards for efficiency and environmental sustainability. The meeting concluded with both sides reaffirming their commitment to fast-tracking implementation of agreed actions, and to position the Bangladesh–Denmark partnership as a model for sustainable PPP cooperation.
