Patuakhali Chhatra Dal protests attack on BNP office

Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal, Patuakhali District Unit, has held a protest march and submitted a memorandum against the vandalism of the party office, attacks on leaders and activists and propaganda by the Gono Odhikar President VP Nurul Haque Noor.

A protest march was held at 1:30 pm on Sunday under the leadership of District Chhatra Dal President Shamim Chowdhury. The procession started from Jhautala area and paraded the main roads of the town before ending at the Deputy Commissioner’s office.

The District Chhatra Dal protested the attack on and vandalism of the BNP office in Char Biswas Union of Galachipa Upazila of the district and planned attacks on BNP leaders and activists on the instructions of the Gono Odhikar Parishad President Nurul Haque Noor.

At the same time, Chhatra Dal leaders submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner Abu Hasnat Mohammad Arefin in protest against the rehabilitation of Awami League and their associates in different parts of the district and the false propaganda against the district Chhatra Dal. In the memorandum, they demanded an immediate investigation into these incidents and exemplary punishment for those responsible. They alleged that such attacks and false propaganda were against democratic politics and were intentional. Chhatra Dal leaders and activists from different levels participated in the programme.
