4 rounds of bullets recovered in Rajshahi

The Special Response Battalion (SRB) has recovered four rounds of pistol ammunition in an abandoned condition here.

The ammunition was recovered during an operation conducted from the city's Shah Makhdum Thana Bus Terminal to Khanka Sharif in the early hours of today.

The ammunition was handed over to Shah Makhdum Police Station.

Meanwhile, police have recovered a truck carrying 427 bottles of Phensedyl in Charghat, Rajshahi. Two persons have been arrested in this connection.

They were arrested during an operation on the Charghat-Baneswar road in Naodara village under Charghat Model Thana at 2:20 am.

The arrested persons are Suman Ali, 32, son of Abdul Karim of Moktarpur (Pakianpara) village under Charghat Model Thana, and Hatem Ali, 30, son of late Abdul Aziz of Dasirdia village under Araihazar Thana in Narayanganj.

A case has been filed against the arrested persons with Charghat Model Thana under the Narcotics Control Act, 2018.
