Abandoned pistol recovered in Rangpur
The Special Response Battalion (SRB)-13 has recovered an abandoned country-made one-shooter pistol from Gajoghontha Babupara village under Gangachara model police station of Rangpur district.
The pistol was recovered during an operation conducted today, according to a press release signed by SRB-13's Senior Assistant Director (Media) Biplab Kumar Goswami.
On information, an operational team from SRB-13 in Rangpur recovered the silver-colored, iron-made one-shooter pistol found abandoned in a bamboo grove in Gajoghontha Babupara village at 3:30 am.
After filing a General Diary (GD), the elite force handed over the recovered one-shooter pistol to Gangachara model police station for further legal action.
