17 Athletes Receive Financial Assistance
Seventeen indigent, sick, injured and disabled athletes and their family members today (Monday) got financial assistance of Taka 27.62 lakh from National Krirashebi Kalyan Foundation, a welfare organisation owned and supported by the government.
Under the direction of Sports Advisor to the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Secretary of the ministry and vice-chairman of the foundation Mahbub-Ul-Alam distributed the cheques of Taka 27.62 lakh at the office of National
Krirashebi Kalyan Foundation, said a press release.
Additional Secretary of Youth and Sports Ministry Md Iqbal Hossain, Additional Secretary Md. Selim Fakir, NDC, members of the screening committee, prominent sports organisers and sportsmen receiving sports allowances were present on the occasion.
