Bangladesh set to face South Korea tomorrow
Bangladesh will take on strong South Korea in their fourth match of the Asian Champions Trophy, scheduled to be held at Surjit Hockey Stadium in Jalandhar, Punjab, tomorrow (Sunday).
The match kicks off at 3 pm.
Bangladesh have faced a harsh reality in their in the tournament so far failing to make a competitive impression against Asia's top giant sides.
Despite earning the chance to compete against some of the continent's strongest sides, Peter Gerhard's men have struggled to match them. Bangladesh have lost all three of their opening league matches, scoring just one goal while conceding 20.
The results have exposed the gap between Bangladesh and the continent's leading hockey nations, leaving Jimmy, Amirul and their teammates with plenty to work on as they continue their campaign.
Bangladesh were earlier crushed by host India in a 13- 0 defeat in their opening match before conceding a 1-0 defeat to Japan in their second match and a 6-1 defeat to Malaysia in the third match.
