Chandrapara Darbar provides capital assistance to Zakers and announces date for Urs Pak.
Hazrat Shah Chandrapuri Zaker Kalyan Foundation has distributed capital and capital as employment assistance to Zakers to make the indigent self-reliant. This assistance was provided at the traditional Chandrapara Darbar Sharif in Sadarpur, Faridpur on Wednesday.
Shah Sufi Syed Kamruzzaman Naqshbandi Mojaddidi, the Gedinshin Pir of Darbar Sharif and the Chairman of the Foundation, provided this grant. In addition to single financial assistance to create employment for the indigent, various production-oriented inputs including cows and goats are provided, which will help them become self-reliant, according to the Foundation.
At the same event, the date of the upcoming annual Urs Sharif was announced on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, on the occasion of the death anniversary of the founder of Darbar Sharif, the Mujaddid Hazrat Maulana Shah Sufi Syed Abul Fazl Sultan Ahmed Chandrapuri (R.A.), Naqshobandi Mujaddidi Pir Keblajan. On the occasion of the preparation for Urs Pak, the Jalsa-e-Urs Pak-e-Shah Chandrapuri was held with religious solemnity and sermons from Tuesday after Asr to Wednesday Fajr. Numerous murids, ashek-zakers and devotees from home and abroad began to gather at Darbar Sharif from Tuesday morning. After Zuhr, a sermon on the recitation of the Holy Quran, Milad-Qiyam, Zikir-Azkar and Sharia-Tariqat was held. On Wednesday, after Fajr, the holy Rawza Mubarak Ziarat and final prayers are offered to wish for happiness and peace for the entire world and closeness to Allah Almighty.
