EU agrees to implement US trade deal
EU lawmakers and member states reached a late-night agreement on Tuesday to implement the bloc's nearly year-old trade pact with the United States, with President Donald Trump threatening new tariffs unless it is done by July 4.
"EU-US trade: Council and Parliament strike a deal to implement the tariff elements of the Joint Statement," said a statement announcing the provisional deal, which puts the bloc on track to meet Trump's deadline.
