Four detained after AL flash procession and crude bomb blasts in Dhanmondi
Four people were detained after leaders and activists of the Awami League, whose activities are currently banned, brought out a flash procession and exploded crude bombs in the Dhanmondi-27 area of Dhaka this noon, police said.
Dhanmondi Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mohammad Imdadul Islam Tawhid confirmed the incident.
The procession were brought out under the banner of the Mohammadpur thana unit of the Awami League in front of the Bata showroom around 12:30pm, the police official said.
Police detained the four while they were fleeing after the procession, the OC added.
