Govt Offers Free Treatment to Uttara Plane Crash Injured


The government will provide free medical treatment to all individuals injured in the crash of a Bangladesh Air Force training aircraft on the campus of Milestone School and College in Uttara, Dhaka. Senior Information Officer of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Mohammad Shahadat Hossain, confirmed the information at 11:30 pm on Tuesday, citing Health and Family Welfare Adviser Nurjahan Begum. He stated that instructions have been issued to all private hospitals to provide full treatment free of charge to admitted patients. In case of any limitations in treatment capacity, patients are to be transferred to the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery or Dhaka Medical College Hospital, he added.
